Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Liquid Clips you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Liquid Clips is a desktop application and related web services that help you turn long-form video into short clips and prepare them for posting. Features vary by plan.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts and sign-in are provided through Clerk.

4. Plans & billing

• Liquid Clips offers Free, Solo, Growth, Autopilot, and a one-time Founder plan. Current prices are shown on the pricing section.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and are billed through our processors (Clerk/Whop/Stripe). You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Bring-your-own keys

On Free and Solo you supply your own AI provider key. You are responsible for your usage of, and any charges from, that provider. Liquid Clips stores your key in your OS keychain, not on our servers.

6. Whop Content Rewards

Liquid Clips is an independent tool to help you make and prepare clips. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Whop or any campaign brand. Liquid Clips does not submit on your behalf, and does not guarantee that any clip will be approved, will earn views, or will be paid. Submissions and payouts are handled entirely by Whop and the relevant brand under their terms.

7. Affiliate / Partner terms

If you join the Liquid Clips affiliate program, the following rules govern commission. Payouts are managed by Whop.

Eligibility

• You must hold an active, paid Liquid Clips subscription to earn commission. Solo or higher qualifies.
• If your Liquid Clips subscription lapses, commission eligibility pauses. It may resume on reactivation, from that point forward, subject to these terms.

Qualifying as a partner

Affiliate commission is payable only after you reach Qualified Affiliate status. You reach Qualified Affiliate status when either:

• two referred customers become paid Liquid Clips customers using your tracked link; or
• you reach 11,000 Whop-verified views on approved Liquid Clips promo or Content Reward submissions.

When 50% recurring commission starts

• Once qualified, you earn 50% recurring commission on subsequent referred paid-customer payments — beginning with the third referred paid customer, or the next referred paid customer after view qualification.
• Commission is not payable on the first two referred paid customers unless Liquid Clips approves otherwise in writing. Those first two referred paid customers qualify you.

How commission is earned

• Commission is paid only on successful payments from referred paid customers — never on free or trial sign-ups.
• Attribution is first-touch, locked at the referred user's sign-up, and is not reassigned.
• After qualification, commission recurs each month the referred customer remains paid.
• Already-paid commission is not clawed back, except in cases of fraud or abuse.

Exclusions

• Free sign-ups, trials, test payments, refunds, chargebacks, bot or invalid traffic, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, and abuse do not earn commission.
• Fraud or abuse may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commission. Liquid Clips may pause or remove an affiliate's eligibility for any of the above.

Whop is the source of truth for affiliate payouts and Whop-verified promo views. You must complete Whop payout setup to receive commission. Specific thresholds and payout schedules are administered through Whop and may be updated.

8. Acceptable use

• Don't use Liquid Clips for unlawful content or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Only clip and publish content you have the right to use, and follow each platform's and campaign's rules.
• Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.

9. Intellectual property

We own Liquid Clips and its software, brand, and content. You own the videos and clips you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.

10. Disclaimers

Liquid Clips is provided "as is". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no guarantee of earnings, views, approval, or any specific result.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liquid Clips is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using Liquid Clips anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for abuse.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
